太阳集团城至诚特聘教授、博导。1992年本科毕业于太阳集团城;1997年在中国科公司获得自然地理学博士学位;2008年国家杰出青年科学基金项目;2017年科技部重点领域创新团队负责人;2019年国家级领军人才项目。长期从事极地冰川学和青藏高原冰芯研究,重新构建了青藏高原冰芯年代框架,在南极和青藏高原冰芯记录等方面取得丰硕成果。迄今发表SCI论文180余篇。曾先后30余次率队或参加南极、北极、青藏高原和安第斯山等地区科学考察。先后主持10项国家自然科学基金项目(包括国家杰出青年科学基金、重点项目2项、重大研究计划培育项目2项、面上和青年项目3项等)。现任冰芯科学国际伙伴计划(International Partnerships in Ice Core Sciences, IPICS)科学委员会委员、国家气候观象台科学指导委员会委员等。
